The role: Front End Web Developer

As a Front End Web Developer, you will be helping to build next-generation web applications
You will specialize in developing responsive and elegant web UIs with AJAX and similar technologies in a fast-paced work environment.
This opportunity requires someone who has a strong interest in delivering the best possible experience to millions of users worldwide.
Develop next-generation web applications with a focus on the client side using Cake or Zend
to build scalable framework for web applications.
Responsibilities:

Plan, architect, and develop database driven web interfaces and applications
Create wireframes and translate visual designs into cross-browser compliant code
Work on multiple tasks and projects while adhering to firm deadlines
Support ongoing development for existing projects
Work independently and as part of a team to create cutting edge web applications
Qualifications:

Experience working in a LAMP environment
Expert knowledge of CSS2.1/CSS3 and XHTML/HTML5
Strong understanding and experience with PHP 4/5
Experience with MVC framework such as Zend or CakePHP
Working knowledge of MySQL and database theory and application
Strong understanding and experience with Javascript/jQuery/AJAX
Working knowledge of WordPress CMS
Familiarity with social media platform APIs (Facebook / Twitter / YouTube)
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
Ability to produce flexible, high quality code

Ability to use Adobe Photoshop for image optimization a bonus
